Garlic is a complex plant. The principal active component is allicin, and when the garlic is crushed or cut this reacts with an enzyme allinase also present. This is what gives garlic its pungent smell.

Allicin is a powerful anti-bacterial agent. Other ingredients provide anti-fungal properties.

Thyme contains further anti-bacterial and anti-fungal substances.

Each softgel contains 10mg Garlic Oil concentrate (equivalent to 1000mg of fresh Garlic, and 50mg powdered Thyme.
